Resum
L’article reflexiona sobre la manera com s’han mobilitzat determinades categories espacials en la teoria social i cultural contemporània, i se centra en el paper clau que aquestes han tingut en la reconstrucció dels enfocaments crítics, així com en la reformulació recent de noves idees sobre el que és polític. Prenent com a punt de partida el reconeixement del tipus de projectes polítics i epistèmics que aquestes categories han permès articular, l’objectiu és examinar algunes de les conseqüències que els seus usos han tingut per a la disciplina, i en quina mesura han trastocat formes prèvies i establertes d’«imaginació geogràfica».Paraules clau
