Resum

L’article analitza 480 casos de mobilització social a la costa peninsular espanyola des de la dècada de 1970, relacionats, de forma explícita o implícita, amb l’adaptació i la mitigació en referència al canvi climàtic. A partir d’una base de dades desenvolupada en el projecte MOVxPAIMED, es classifiquen els casos en sis grans categories: mitigació, protecció dels ecosistemes costaners, gestió de l’aigua, infraestructures resilients, seguretat alimentària i planificació territorial. L’estudi combina mètodes quantitatius i qualitatius per interpretar l’evolució, els actors, els resultats i les dimensions territorials dels moviments. Les conclusions revelen la important interacció dels processos econòmics i socials a cada territori, l’àmplia diversitat d’actors implicats i l’enorme capacitat d’influència dels moviments (gairebé el 40% aconsegueix èxits totals o parcials). L’article conclou afirmant que l’acció col·lectiva és un factor clau en la construcció de territoris més resilients i en la definició d’una transició ecològica justa i democràtica.
