Estímuls i barreres per adaptar-se als efectes del canvi climàtic a la Costa Brava
Resum
El present article té per objectiu analitzar quines són les barreres i els estímuls per aplicar estratègies i mesures d’adaptació als riscos climàtics que afecten una destinació turística mediterrània com és la Costa Brava. Per fer-ho, s’han escollit set municipis representatius de la seva diversitat geogràfica, socioeconòmica i ambiental. Els cinc riscos climàtics analitzats han estat les inundacions; l’augment del nivell del mar; l’augment de la temperatura i les onades de calor; les sequeres, i els incendis forestals. S’ha utilitzat una metodologia mixta consistent en l’aplicació de qüestionaris i la realització de sessions de grups focals i/o entrevistes als tècnics municipals de les poblacions d’estudi. Els resultats mostren la complexitat inherent als processos d’adaptació als efectes del canvi climàtic a escala local i confirmen que els factors que intervenen en la capacitat adaptativa poden actuar alhora com a estímuls o com a barreres d’acord amb cada context territorial i amb cada risc climàtic.
