History of Cartography. III Course: Italian Cartography (Barcelona, February 17-21, 1992)

Abstract

During the 1991-92 academic year, a course on Italian cartography was held as one of the series of courses on the History of Cartography wich form part of the Post Graduate programme of the UAB and the Cartographic Institute of Catalonia. The lecturers who took part were: Marica Milanesi, course coordinator and lecturer in the Institute of Geography of the University of Pavia; Vladimiro Valerio, lecturer in the Institute of Mathematics in the faculty of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II; Leonardo Rombai, lecturer at the Interfaculty Institute of Geography of the University of Florence; Emanuela Casti Moreschi, lecturer in the Morandini Department of Geographie of the University of Padova. This article provides a summary of the different lectures and some comments on the series in general and on this particular course.
