Abstract

Within the graduate courses on the History of Cartography organised by the Department of Geography of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Cartoteca de Catalunya of the Institut Catografic de Catalunya, the academic year 1992-93 was devoted to the cartography of the Netherlands.
This article presents a summary of the conferences given by professors of the Koniklijke Bibliotheek (The Hague), the Library of the Rijksuniversiteit (Leiden) and the Faculty of Geographical Sciences of the Rijksuniversiteit (Utrecht). These lectures are chapters of a forthcoming book.
