Seminar on Development and Environment held at the Escola de Mestres «Sant Cugat»

Abstract

In the seminar on Development and Environment held at the Escola de Mestres «Sant Cugat» de la U. A. B. , J. Huckle and R. Williams outlined the process of change of the U. K. educational system, the rediscovery of a critica1 school geography and the way in which it is being applied to the teaching of issues of environment and development. They also examined the preparation of teachers in this context and the need for radical changes in the concepts and methodology within teacher education.
