Abstract

The Colloquium on Problems of Water Management in the Mediterranean Area was held at Callosa d'En Sarrih (Alacant) from 19th to 21st June 1992. It was organized jointly by the autonomous organism Salva-Pérez Miralles and the Council of the host town. Problems deriving from water consumption in Mediterranean areas -and especially in urban areas- and possible measures to increase the efficiency of the use of water resources were the topics of discussion.
