Distribució geogràfica i efectes d’Airbnb en zones rurals i de muntanya: cas d’estudi de les marques turístiques Pirineus i Val d’Aran

Resum

Airbnb ha esdevingut la plataforma de lloguer turístic a curt termini més important del món. Si bé els efectes que ha provocat han estat àmpliament analitzats en zones urbanes i centres històrics, s’ha parat poca atenció a les zones rurals d’interior i de muntanya. L’objectiu principal d’aquest estudi és contribuir a l’escassa literatura sobre els efectes d’Airbnb en zones rurals. Específicament, la seva distribució espacial, naturalesa i tipologia, la connexió amb l’oferta turística i l’impacte socioeconòmic exercit en el mercat de lloguer. Per això es van fer servir anàlisis estadístiques de correlació de Pearson i models de regressió lineal múltiples. Els resultats mostren la professionalització d’Airbnb, la concentració en zones amb una oferta turística existent i un important parc d’habitatges secundaris i buits, a més d’un efecte d’increment de preus en el mercat de lloguer.
